  • Video Content Producer

We are searching for a talented videographer and producer to help us tell our client’s stories through engaging, inspiring, and impactful video content.

The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling instincts, impeccable attention to detail, thrive in fast-moving environments, and be enthusiastic about taking projects to the next level through excellent technical proficiency, creative vision, and passion.

They will excel in both big picture vision and storytelling as well as detailed production and execution.

Our clients range from large Fortune 500 companies to regional associations. Experience in corporate communications and the ability to apply creativity within brand guidelines is a must.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work closely with internal video team members, freelancers, designers, editors and clients to create video content from corporate brand videos, internal promotional videos to short social clips.

    • Collaboratively develop scripts, storyboards and overall creative guidance based on client direction.

    • Work with a variety of assets including internally and externally produced live action video, stock footage, user-generated mobile phone footage, images, and graphics.

    • Scout/select locations for interviews and other shoots with considerations for composition, lighting and audio.

    • Oversee production planning, schedules and duties for production crew and client.

    • Have a general understanding of the business aspect of each project and utilize that information in decision making on hours and expenses against projects.

    • Produce videos on set, including directing colleagues and talent, conducting interviews and managing teleprompter use.

    • Respectfully provide feedback on others’ projects and graciously receive/implement feedback on their own projects.

    • Work closely with account directors and strategists to ensure video content is meeting brand and quality standards and fulfilling client needs.

    • Stay informed on industry trends and techniques to keep our output fresh and current.

    • Work with department leads on new business development and internal marketing projects as needed.

    SKILLS AND QUALITIES

    • Great storytelling instincts when implementing stock video, motion graphics templates, and music for client projects.

    • Proficient in Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects; other Adobe CC skills (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator) are a plus but not required.

    • Excel in standard 3-point lighting setup for interviews and “run and gun” lighting for b-roll.

    • Experienced shooter with knowledge of Sony mirrorless cameras and Aputure lighting.

    • Excellent team player with an all-hands on deck attitude — from hauling gear to rearranging sets to jumping into an edit project halfway through completion.

    • Motivation to go above and beyond basic client expectations and elevate each project through your unique creativity.

    • Solution-oriented: Always seeking to find a way to solve challenges.

    • Impeccable attention-to-detail — prioritize quality control, from getting it right “in-camera” to spell-checking subtitles in the edit room.

    • Self-starter, self-motivated. Ability to drive progress and finish projects without hand holding or explicit directions.

    • Great collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (graphic designers, editors/animators, production crew).

    • Flexible and nimble — ability to work well under deadlines and throughout changes in project scopes.

    • Professional, personable and friendly attitude with clients and team members alike.

    • Additional Adobe Suite proficiency (InDesign, Illustrator).

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, design or related field OR equivalent editing and video production experience.

    • 8+ years work experience in editing and video production.

    • Expert Adobe Suite skills (Premiere, After Effects).

    • Proficient corporate-style cinematography (corporate interviews, explainer videos, b-roll).
