Harvesting success

Touchpoint would like to applaud DinoMights for hosting an exceptional 25th Annual Fundraiser last week at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to join supporters to learn about the organization’s growth and celebrate its success.

DinoMights is focused on building long-term relationships with at-risk youth and providing the support each child needs to grow into a self-assured, competent adult. The non-profit youth development program provides opportunities for kids to take part in hockey teams, training, tutoring, mentoring and much more — from their early elementary years up through high school graduation. One highlight for first graders from Minneapolis and St. Paul is the opportunity to learn the basics of skating in hockey by taking part in Greg Carroll Learn 2 Skate.

As hockey enthusiasts ourselves, we jump at the opportunity to volunteer and join the kids on the ice each spring. After all, what better way to enjoy the sport than to watch kids’ faces light up as they discover a new passion?
