Part-Time Production Designer

Job purpose:
As a Touchpoint production designer, you will create and execute concepts to communicate messages that inform, inspire, and captivate audiences while relaying our client’s key messages. You will develop the layout and design for magazines, infographics, advertisements, logos, web-based assets, and other marketing collateral.

Duties, responsibilities:

  • Meet with creative director and design team to determine the scope of projects
  • Take designs from concept to completion
  • Incorporate changes recommended by creative director and clients into the final design
  • Review all designs for errors and improvements before client review, printing and/or posting them
  • Add visual and typography design elements to new business proposals
  • Participate in conceptualizing new marketing collateral and updating existing marketing collateral
  • Work as part of team of designers with copywriters, editors and executives
  • Help traffic flow of ads and other materials
  • Work with printers on quoting projects, balancing quality with cost
  • Attend press checks for color and quality control

  • Illustration, photography and/or video editing experience a plus


  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • 2+ years experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Clear communicator
  • Highly-organized
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Working conditions:
Graphic designers work alongside editors, sales staff and other team members in a high-energy, collaborative environment. Office hours are typically 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday.  This position is a part-time position. Schedules are flexible but must be agreed upon with the Creative Director.
