5 Fashion Brands Taking Blogs To The Next Level

By Jessica Disch

Fashion blogging is no longer just a fun hobby. For many, it’s a full-time career, and a lucrative one at that. Fashion brands are seeing this trend and many are putting great resources behind their own blogs.

Here are five of our favorites:

The J.Crew blog tells their brand story perfectly—it’s crisp, clean, and classic. From behind-the-scenes product looks to packing lists for enviable travel destinations, this blog is loaded with engaging content. It’s light on text, heavy on images, and overall easy to read. It’s clear J.Crew knows their customer very well.

Jess-LululemonLove them or love to hate them, Lululemon knows content. Their playful blog includes workout playlists, meditation podcasts, and interviews with trendy artists such as Brett Dennen. Of course, there is no shortage of yoga and fitness content for you diehards.

Jess-AnthropologyAnthropologie does a masterful job at creating compelling content that goes well beyond fashion, yet somehow feels totally appropriate. Their blog showcases music, entertainment, décor, food and cocktails, travel, and style. The photography is totally Pinterest-worthy.

Minnetonka Moccasins
Jess-MinnetonkaWe can’t forget our local favorite. Minnetonka Moccasins has turned very practical products into fashion staples of Midwesterners and celebrities alike. Their blog features everything from Q-and-As with shoe cobblers to packing lists for camping trips. Check out their “Heritage” section for heartwarming stories of customers and the special relationships they have with their Minnetonkas—the epitome of brand loyalty.

The Bonobos blog, Equateur, reads more like a men’s magazine than a fashion blog. The posts are a bit lengthier and more in-depth than most, but the content is intriguing enough to keep you engaged. You feel a little bit cooler after reading it. And if you’re more of a visual person, you can check out their Tumblr account, which is jam-packed with well-dressed inspiration.
